The TMHS Vector Summer Robotics Camp is Sold Out. Sorry if you missed it!

The TMHS Vector Summer Robotics Camp will be from July 15-19, 2024!

• To register your student, pay the $350 registration fee here and then complete this Google Form. (SOLD OUT)
• To register two or more siblings for the camp, use the dropdown menu to pay $325 for each and then complete the Google Form above.

Please include your student’s name in the optional notes section when you complete your payment!

• The camp runs Monday, July 15th through Friday, July 19th.
• Students don’t need any prior skills or knowledge.
• You’ll need to drop off your student at 9 A.M. and pick them up at 3 P.M. each day.
• Your registration fee also covers a Vector Summer Camp shirt and lunch each day of the camp.
• The only thing students will need to bring is a refillable water bottle.

Our veteran students and coaches will teach your incoming TISD 6th-8th grade students all sorts of STEM concepts, such as:

• Using OnShape to design parts in a computer and then 3D printing them
• Calculating gear ratios and motor torque versus speed for robot drive trains
• Coding basics using blocks, Java, Python, and Arduino-C programming languages
• Building circuits and logic gates using breadboards and adding LEDs and speakers
• Creating a line following robot by reading information from sensors
• Crafting fun physics projects such as catapults, slingshot rockets, and smoke cannons
• Competing in a FIRST Tech / Vex Style Competition in 2 versus 2 in a 12’x12′ playing field
