Points were earned by scoring in the "Speaker" and "Amp," and the endgame involved robots climbing chains on a central "Stage" for bonus points. The game's theme was inspired by music and concerts.

The 2023 FRC season, titled FIRST Energize, featured the game Charge Up. The competition had two alliances of three robots each working to score inflated cubes and yellow cones onto a tiered grid. Alliances could earn bonus points and ranking points for "linking" a row of three game pieces. The endgame involved robots docking or engaging with a "Charge Station" to earn additional points.

The 2022 FRC season, titled FIRST Forward, featured the game Rapid React. The competition had two alliances of three teams each transport oversized inflatable balls, called "cargo," and shoot them into a central hub with a high and low goal. At the end of the match, robots could climb a series of monkey bars in their "hangar" for additional points.

The 2021 FRC season, titled Infinite Recharge, was a unique "at-home" experience due to the global pandemic. The on-field game was suspended, and teams instead participated in various remote challenges. The "Recharge at Home" challenge involved a series of skills-based tasks, including autonomous programming and driver skill courses, which teams filmed and submitted for judging.

The 2020 FRC season, titled Infinite Recharge, had a futuristic, Star Wars-themed game. Alliances of three robots scored "Power Cells" (foam balls) into goals to energize a Shield Generator. Robots also had to rotate a control panel to specific colors. The endgame involved teams climbing onto the Shield Generator's "Rendezvous Point" to earn bonus points and activate a shield to protect the city from a meteor shower.
